Facts, allegations, and opinion
Documented facts are cited so a reader can open the source. Allegations, news paraphrases, and opinion are labeled as such. A news story is not a finding of guilt. A company personnel statement is not a criminal disposition. An amateur video is not a conviction. A board removal is not a verdict. Headline verbs such as “fired” or “resigns” are the outlets’ verbs unless Meta used them — and Meta did not, in the retrieved statement.
