Post Millennial, citing a Predator Catchers Indianapolis spokesperson to Andy Ngo, said the group sent details to police in Columbus, Ohio, and Palm Springs, California. That is a group’s claim that it mailed a packet. It is not a prosecutor’s caption. TechCrunch wrote in February 2022 that it was “not clear what the legal ramifications of this will be, if any.” This pass still has no court record to attach.
An amateur video is not a court. Outlets reported a viral video from an amateur group. TechCrunch reported that the video does not depict a sex act and does not show him admitting a specific sex act or an intent to carry one out. It reported an admission, during questioning, of inappropriate communications with a person he believed was a minor. That is allegation-plus-reporting. It is not a finding of guilt. Just the News headlined “resigns.” The Post Millennial and parts of the Examiner copy said “fired.” Those are outlet verbs. They are not treated here as Meta’s verb.
